COMMITTIEE POSITIONS
IFES COORDINATOR
The IFES coordinator will assist the vice presidents in coordinating the following events, possibly overseeing a team of volunteers:
- Back to School Lunch
- Parent-Teacher Conference Week Meal - Fall
- Stock the Teacher Lounge – Spring
- Fall Fun Fest & Spooky Party - Fall
- Luau Party - Springs
RICE COORDINATOR
The Rice coordinator will assist the vice presidents in coordinating the following events, possibly overseeing a team of volunteers:
- Back to School Lunch
- Parent-Teacher Conference Week Meal - Fall
- Stock the Teacher Lounge – Spring
- Spring Fling - Spring
TEACHER APPRECIATION CHAIRPERSON
The Teacher Appreciation chairperson, will coordinate a team of volunteers to plan a theme and help execute a week of fun treats for our teachers at both schools during teacher appreciation week.
SPIRIT GEAR CHAIRPERSON
The Sprit Gear chairperson, will arrange Spirit Gear booths at most events (Back to School Nights, Rice Halloween Parade, Spring Fling, Cookies & Cocoa with Santa, etc.), arrange delivery of orders placed online, maintain inventory on Spirit Gear, and create purchase orders for new gear.
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR/COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR
The Social Media coordinator/communications chair, will maintain Facebook notifications, updates, and event listings, and maintain other social media accounts as needed.
RICE HOLIDAY MARKET CHAIRPERSON
The Rice Holiday Market chairperson will coordinate a team of volunteers to purchase items which will be sold at the holiday market. They will also create a schedule of classroom shopping times, send home communications to students, maintain accurate records for each class shopping and deliver to treasurer for reconciliation.
BUBBLETHON 2024 CHAIRPERSON
The Bubblethon chairperson will be responsible for assisting with marketing, finding and coordinating with potential event sponsors, preparing student packets with Bubblethon event and donation information, staffing a 'booth' at Rice and IFES back-to-school nights, assisting with Bubblethon days and Bubblethon reward days as well as researching and reserving class and school rewards. Other duties as needed will be assigned.
